Introduction

The Truck Inspections Template DocType is designed to assist users in conducting thorough inspections of trucks. It provides a comprehensive checklist format to evaluate various systems of the vehicle, ensuring safety and functionality.

2. Accessing the Truck Inspections Template

• Log in to the VSD Fleet Management System with your credentials.

• Navigate to the VSD Fleet MS module on the dashboard.

• Select Truck Inspections Template from the list of available DocTypes.

3. Understanding the Interface

The interface is organized into several sections, each dedicated to a specific part of the truck inspection process:

Truck Type: A link field to specify the type of truck being inspected.

Checklists: Various checklists are provided, including:

• Lighting Checklist

• Brake System Checklist

• Engine Checklist

• Fuel System Checklist

• Power Train Checklist

• Electronics Checklist

• Electrical Checklist

• Steering Checklist

• Tires Checklist

• Suspension Checklist

• Air System Checklist

• Tire Status and Pressure

Each checklist section allows for detailed entry of inspection results.

4. Adding a New Inspection Entry

• Click on the New button to create a new inspection entry.

• In the Truck Type field, select the type of truck from the dropdown.

• Navigate through each checklist section and fill in the necessary details.

• After completing the inspection, click Save to store the new entry.
